Why does the media lick Liverpools arse time and time again?

Watching BBC breakfast show this morning, they are reporting the Scouse cunts magnificent win over Brighton, the magnificent 100% record so far, and stating they are the only team who 'can & definately will' challenge Man City for the prem.
Why is it that the media across the board are gagging for fucking Liverpool to win the premier/champs league/FA cup etc yet other teams are beset with problems ie Man U, Cheslea, Arsenal, Yids etc etc.
It's like the media have got them down as 'entitled' to win something and way above any critiscm.
Clearly - I fucking detest the club and everything it stands for, the '96', Heysel, Shanks, fucking Gerrard bottling it in Scotland, & now their new GK being 'currently' the best in the world alongside Van Dyck being the best CB in the prem, let alone Klopp being the best manager in the league.
Just fuck off do.

It's probably the sole reason I dont have sky/bt. When there not on sky they are on bt. So hardly a weekend goes by where thete not on. Don't mind them on against man city but home to Brighton what a dead beat game. So hope they don't win the title.

It’s got a lot to do with most in the media would have been growing up when Liverpool were in there pomp. Also the vast majority in that line of business are grade A cunts.

There ARE a lot of ex Liverpool players in the media
Sky had 3 or 4 on for our game. BT had McManamanaman commentating for the Brighton game
If it was Bbc breakfast the skinny dark haired sports bird who looks like Olive Oyl has admitted to being a Liverpool fan.
The rest as 40 something bedwetting media types are classic candidates to be Liverpool fans
Plus all the Asians on the bbc staff OBVS

Agree with OP it will be unbearable when they do finally win the league. The media love in was far worse in the eighties though.

The biased coverage from Sky for our game against them a couple of weeks ago was a disgrace.
Mind you our performance on the pitch was an even bigger disgrace.

If the city of Liverpool didn't have two half-decent football teams they would have been forgotten about and been an outskirt of Manchester much like Wigan or Oldham.
There is literally fuck all else as music has had it's day there too.
It's why it amuses me, it's the only way that city can get any good attention.

It's all the channels. I watched The Debate on Sky last week thinking they would discuss West Ham's awful start to the season but nope, every bloody nights it's United, City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs. The rest are just ignored. It was a good idea for a show but it's just a "big" club repetition of the same stuff every night.
